Portland Reign Basketball Academy offers Sunday Skills Academy sessions that include skills work, drills, and scrimmage play. The program also includes AAU Basketball, after-school sessions, seasonal camps, private one-on-one sessions, and small-group sessions. It operates as a year-round basketball club with a focus on both the mental and physical skills required to be successful basketball players and community members.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Sunday sessions from January 19 to March 16
The academy’s mission is to empower youth with vital life skills, including building confidence, embracing teamwork, and cultivating resilience through basketball. AAU teams from Portland Reign Basketball Academy compete at high levels in regional and national tournaments and leagues, and select teams compete in UA Future, MADE Hoops, and West Coast Elite. After-school sessions offer a structured, active space where young athletes can build core skills, stay engaged, and connect with peers, and seasonal camps focus on core skills, strategy, and mentality in a challenging, supportive setting. Expert coaches tailor trainings to enhance each athlete’s skill level and basketball IQ. The program is partnered with select Portland Public Schools (PPS) elementary schools and offers youth basketball in the heart of Portland, Oregon.
