Quantum Martial Arts Portland offers martial arts classes for kids and martial arts classes for adults. The program also offers rolling & falling for cyclists workshops and self-defense classes.

Quantum Martial Arts Portland is a non-profit martial arts community and a registered 501(c)3 non-profit community. The program offers inclusive, non-competitive training for adults and families, and welcomes students of all abilities. Membership is month-to-month with no contracts. The school uses a blended martial arts style developed by founder Master Rachael Evans that is grounded in mindfulness of the body and blends Tae Kwon Do, Wing Chun, Judo, and Arnis. Quantum Martial Arts Portland is part of a tri-state dojo community where students are welcomed and encouraged to visit and train at sister locations, with opportunities to travel and test at different dojos.
Quantum Martial Arts Portland began in 2020 with four people meeting every Saturday in Laurelhurst Park, and training continued outdoors during the pandemic with physical distance, fresh air, and no contact. In 2021, the Portland school hosted a martial arts retreat that reunited students and instructors from across the community. The mission of the program is to give students, families, and community a place to grow and thrive, and to create a warm, welcoming, and diverse environment for martial artists of all levels. The program states that it believes martial arts can ground people, give them strength and confidence, and help them tap into their own innate power.
Master Rachael Evans, the founder and Head Instructor, has over 35 years of martial arts experience and is a sixth-degree black belt. The leadership team also includes Brad Lyons as Chief Instructor. The broader Quantum Martial Arts community notes that the Seattle school has several long-standing community outreach programs that reach more than 200 kids per year, changing the lives of children and families throughout Seattle.
