Quantum Martial Arts is a nonprofit dojo offering inclusive, non-competitive training for adults and families, with no experience required and all abilities welcome. Membership is month-to-month with no contracts. Quantum Martial Arts is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit martial arts community with dojos in Seattle, San Francisco, and Portland, and its tri-state dojo community includes both well-seasoned martial arts practitioners and complete beginners. The Seattle dojo has served thousands of students since opening on Capitol Hill in 1995. The Seattle school runs several long-standing community outreach programs that reach more than 200 kids per year. Quantum students are welcomed and encouraged to visit and train at each of the sister locations, and the program tries to offer chances for students to travel and test at different dojos when possible. The San Francisco dojo location features two training floors. Master Rachael Evans, the founder and head instructor, has over 35 years of martial arts experience and is a sixth-degree black belt, and Brad Lyons is the chief instructor. The stated goal of the organization is to give students and the community a place to grow and thrive in a warm, welcoming, and diverse environment for martial artists of all levels, and it describes itself as a community of people seeking to grow both physically and mentally and to help each other along the way.
