Summer at OES offers students a variety of fun, inquiry-based summer enrichment programs that include activities such as rock climbing, creative arts, tennis, STEM, basketball, volleyball, racquetball, and fencing. Some classes and trips also include surfing at the coast, rock climbing in Central Oregon, and hiking in the Columbia Gorge. Summer at OES takes place at Oregon Episcopal School, a college preparatory, independent school that offers an inquiry-based education and a liberal arts curriculum with an emphasis on “learning by doing.”

Oregon Episcopal School was founded in 1869 and is the oldest Episcopal school west of the Rockies. The school has a no-cut athletics policy that grants every student the right to participate in sports. Campus facilities that may be used for Summer at OES include a ropes course, nature trails, greenhouse, gardens, and multiple indoor and outdoor athletic facilities, as well as the Athletic Center built in 2020 and turf and track updated in 2025 with sustainable, high-performance materials, including a gel track made from 84% renewable and recycled materials. The Sports and Recreation Center (SPARC) includes indoor and outdoor tennis courts, a basketball/volleyball court, racquetball courts, and a fencing facility, and the EC3 Design Center is a collaborative hub with THINK, MAKE, and MOVE spaces.
