Everybody Dance Project

Everybody Dance Project offers Dance Party! for ages 2-5, Ballet/Tumbling for ages 3-7, Hip Hop/Tumbling for ages 5-10, and School Break Camps for ages 3-8 and 5-10. The classes include dance and movement, gross motor skills, playful dance games, ballet terminology and positions, tumbling, basic grooves, isolations, choreography combos, and camp activities such as ballet, jazz, tumbling, crafts, open play, rehearsal, and a routine performed on the last day.

Programs

• Dance Party! — ages 2-5 · Introduction to dance and movement; gross motor skills, playful dance games, and structure of a dance class.
• Ballet/Tumbling — ages 3-7 · Fundamentals of ballet with terminology and positions; tumbling develops coordination and strength.
• Hip Hop/Tumbling — ages 5-10 · Basic grooves, isolations, choreography combos, and tumbling focused on strength and coordination.
• School Break Camps — ages 3-8 and 5-10 · Ballet/jazz/tumbling combo camps with themes, crafts, open play, and a routine performed on the last day.

• General schedule: The program offers weekly classes in the SE Fall 2026 Schedule from September 8th to December 11th. School break camps are offered for selected dates across 2026-2027. Sample camp schedules include ballet, jazz, tumbling, snack/play, craft, lunch/play, hip hop, rehearsal, and pick up.

About the provider

The leadership team includes Kaitlyn Burch, Vanda Hunter, Kelly Cimeno, Jasmine Wolfe, and Sophie Nugent. Kaitlyn started The Independent Dance Project in 2011, and Sophie has been part of the teaching staff since 2018. The program says it is focused on bringing quality dance training to young, beginning dancers through fun, engaging classes that promote socialization, coordination, and fundamental dance knowledge.

Free trial classes are offered. Waitlist policy: if a camp is full, add your name to the waitlist; if staff is available they may add another session or adjust staffing. Cancellation policy for camp: up to 4 weeks before camp starts, tuition refund minus a cancellation fee; within 2 weeks, no refund. For school break camps, cancellation fee is $50 and no refund if canceled within 14 days before camp begins.
