US World Class Taekwondo Hollywood

US World Class Taekwondo Hollywood offers Taekwondo instruction led by a team of experienced black belt instructors. The program features classes taught by Grand Master Diwakar “Dan” Maharjan, Master Minu Maharjan, Master Karen Blackledge, and Instructor Edi Kuhn. Parents have the option to actively participate in Taekwondo alongside their children.

• Schedule: Class options Monday through Thursday afternoons and evenings, Friday afternoons and early evenings, and Saturday and Sunday mornings

US World Class Taekwondo Hollywood has been serving the Portland community since 1995 and has taught more than 45,000 hours of classes. The school reports having produced more than 2,000 black belts. The leadership team includes Grand Master Diwakar “Dan” Maharjan (Owner, 8th Degree Black Belt), Master Minu Maharjan (5th Degree Black Belt), Master Karen Blackledge (4th Degree Black Belt), and Instructor Edi Kuhn (they/them, 1st Degree Black Belt). The instructor team includes US National Coaches, Olympians, and National Champions with a collective teaching experience of more than 50 years. The program states that it offers a blend of fitness, education, and self-discipline and describes itself as providing a safe and inclusive place to study martial arts and cultivate community.
