Weekly & Bi-Weekly Groups: Dancing, Nordic Knitting Circle, and Language Conversation includes weekly and bi-weekly language conversation groups, a Nordic Knitting Circle, and dances. The program takes place within a larger organization that also offers concerts, exhibits, family programming, special events, film screenings, lectures, classes, performances, and celebrations.

Nordic Northwest states that its mission is to be the home for discovering and sharing Nordic culture for the enjoyment and enrichment of the Pacific Northwest community. Nordia House is described by the organization as a home for anyone interested in the Nordic countries. Nordic Northwest collaborates with other community organizations and sponsors ongoing educational programs through Portland State University, and it connects with local Nordic groups such as the Danish Brotherhood and Sisterhood, Northwest Danish Association, United Kalevala Brothers & Sisters, Finlandia Foundation, Daughters of Norway, League of Swedish Societies, Vasa Order of America lodges, New Sweden, Swedish Society Linnea, Swedish Roots in Oregon, the Swedish Club, and traditional dancing and music groups for all ages.
