PGA Junior Golf Camps at Juniper Golf Course offers hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professionals. Campers work on golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, and simple rules and etiquette, and take part in games and activities. Participants practice on a double-ended driving range, a practice putting green, and a chipping green with two approaches and a bunker for short game shots.
• Schedule: Half Day Camps are available, with participants segmented into smaller groups based on experience and age.
PGA Junior Golf Camps at Juniper Golf Course uses a signature PGA camp curriculum that focuses on developing golf skills in a fun and engaging format for beginner to intermediate golfers in the Half Day Camps. All junior golf camp instructors have been trained and tested in all aspects of the game by the PGA of America, and every Camp Director is a Certified PGA of America Professional who has been certified in junior-specific instruction, techniques, and strategies. Camps are taught by PGA of America Professionals, and the program maintains a low student to instructor ratio of approximately 6:1. The leadership team includes Tam Bronkey, PGA, as Camp Director and Bobby Kent, PGA Associate, as Camp Co-Director. PGA Camps states that its mission is to share its passion for the game of golf with youths across the country, and welcomes boys and girls of all athletic abilities, golf experience, and competitive desire.
