Protecting and enhancing Oregon’s fish and wildlife, and the habitats they use, for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations is stated as the mission of ODFW Workshops and Events. ODFW stocks millions of trout in ponds, lakes, and reservoirs in the state for anglers to catch and keep, and operates fish hatcheries, wildlife areas, public shooting grounds, hunting and fishing access sites, and several research stations. ODFW fish hatcheries and wildlife areas are open to visitors for hunting and viewing opportunities, and the Recreation Report is updated weekly by fish and wildlife biologists throughout the state. ODFW has also partnered with Jamba to release limited-edition tumblers featuring five Oregon marine animal species in need.
