The PAC states that its mission, in partnership with Youth Stars and the Future's program, is to develop boys and girls both on and off the court. The program uses a personalized program written for basketball-focused athletes around five components to success: Mind, Athleticism, Skills, Nutrition, and Recovery. The PAC notes that it has professionally certified trainers, teachers, and coaches, including National Certified Coaches and Trainers.
The facility includes 6 Dr. Dish CT shooting machines, 6 skills stations with over 100 skills and footwork workouts, and a high-performance agility, conditioning, and weight training area with vertimax and athlete progression tracking. It features a premium flooring system with dual dampening vibration control and athletic response technology, the same type of flooring used by the Portland Trail Blazers, Oregon Ducks, and Oregon State Beavers. Additional features include an innovative recording system for coaches, teams, and players, a DJ sound system, a player portal, a mobile app with nutrition and performance tracking, touchless check-in, online scheduling, cleaning and disinfecting between all sessions, and a security system. The PAC uses the GloFox mobile app for scheduling and member access, offers memberships on a rolling 3‑month basis with a 30‑day notice of cancellation required, allows shooting station bookings 7, 10, and 14 days in advance based on membership level, and charges a $100 processing fee to upgrade or downgrade a plan.
The PAC team states that it places a high value on creating a fun, motivating, and safe atmosphere that instills a sense of self-esteem and commitment to community service in each member. The program states that it wants to help each high school grow its youth programs and support its athletes, and that its athletes enjoy serving the community and will continue to look for opportunities to serve. The PAC is in close partnership with various Mountain Valley and Mid-Willamette conference schools. The program materials are marked © 2020 by The PAC Salem.
