The Family YMCA of Marion and Polk Counties states that it is guided by core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility and is dedicated to giving people of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life the opportunity to reach their full potential with dignity for all since 1892. The YMCA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit social services organization focused on Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. The Silver Falls facility includes an ADA accessible warm water pool typically kept around 82°–87°, with a zero-entry pool and chair lift to facilitate access for those with limited mobility, and it offers an Adaptive Swim Program for children who are confined to wheelchairs. Members on a Family Membership get access to youth team sports, receive discounts on childcare, camps, and swim lessons, and each membership includes 5 guest passes at the time of joining, with no contract and payment flexibility that allows dues to be auto-paid on the 1st or 15th and cancellation at any time with a month’s notice requested. A membership at the Silver Falls Y allows use of any participating YMCA in the country through Nationwide Membership, which provides access to over 2,000 Ys across the country.

In collaboration with the city of Silverton, the Silver Falls Family YMCA offers year-round recreational and competitive swimming, swim lessons, and water fitness.
