Summer Sports Camps & Conditioning Clinics offers a range of sport-specific camps and clinics, including Girl's Volleyball Camp, Gymnastics Camp, Track & Field Camp, YMCA Soccer Camp, Tennis Camp, Golf Camp, Self Defense Camp, Wrestling Camp, Skills & Drills Basketball Camp, Challenger International Soccer Camp, Tiny Tumbler Gymnastics Camp, Progressive Gymnastics Camp, Tumbling with Tykes - Parent & Child Camp, Cheer/Hip Hop Clinic Camp, and KYDC-YMCA Wrestling Camp. Gymnastics options include Tiny Tumbler Gymnastics Camp with instruction on floor exercise, balance beam, vault, and uneven bars, Progressive Gymnastics Camp with emphasis on vault, bars, beam, floor, and tumbling, and Tumbling with Tykes - Parent & Child Camp using safe obstacles, balance beams, a trampoline, and more. Other camps focus on specific skills such as running, jumping, and throwing in Track & Field Camp, passing, setting, attacking, and serving in Volleyball Camp, ball-handling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and defense in Skills and Drills Basketball Camp, Hip Hop dance, jumps, tumbling, and stunts in Cheer/Hip Hop Clinic Camp, and early tactical-technical wrestling development in KYDC-YMCA Wrestling Camp.

• Schedule: One-week gymnastics camps run June 9–13, June 16–20, July 14–18, and July 21–24, 2025; additional camps include Track & Field and Volleyball June 16–20, 2025, Skills and Drills Basketball and Cheer/Hip Hop June 23–27, 2025, and KYDC-YMCA Wrestling July 7–10, 2025.
• Price: Gymnastics camps range from $16.00–$60.00 depending on camp type, membership, and 4- or 5-day week; most sport camps are $40.00 for members and $60.00 for non-members, Skills and Drills Basketball Camp is $175.00 with sibling discounts, Cheer/Hip Hop Clinic Camp is $40.00 for members and $60.00 for non-members, and KYDC-YMCA Wrestling Camp is free.

Summer Sports Camp registration opens Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 9:00 am and remains open until each camp fills or starts, with online and in-house registration available and no phone registration. Ages for camps are based on the child’s age as of the camp start date and/or grade level for the 2025–26 school year, and summer memberships are available from May through August. A $10.00 sibling discount off Summer Sport Camps is offered when registering siblings for the same camp after the first child enrolls, with no discount for the same child attending multiple camps or weeks, gymnastics counted as one camp for discount purposes, and scholarship memberships with program discounts not eligible for additional discounts. It is required that children 9 and under be accompanied by an adult at all times while at the YMCA, parents must walk their child to and from their supervised program with no front entry drop-off or pick-up, and transportation to and from summer childcare or sports camp is the parent’s responsibility.

Tiny Tumbler Gymnastics Camp runs June 9–13, June 16–20, July 14–18, and July 21–24, 2025, with 45-minute classes at 10:00–10:45 am or 12:15–1:00 pm, a maximum of 12 participants per class, and attire of a leotard or shorts with a tucked-in t-shirt and long hair pulled back. Progressive Gymnastics Camp meets on the same weeks from 11:00 am–12:00 noon, with clothing that has no snaps, buttons, zippers, long strings, or baggy fit and hair pulled back into a ponytail. Tumbling with Tykes - Parent & Child Camp meets the same weeks from 9:15–9:45 am as a 30-minute class. Week #4 (July 21–24) is a 4-day Monday–Thursday camp for all gymnastics options.

Track & Field Camp runs June 16–20, 2025, from 8:00–9:30 am, where participants run, jump, and throw while learning track and field fundamentals and skills. Volleyball Camp runs June 16–20, 2025, with a session for grades 4–6 from 6:00–7:00 pm and grades 7–9 from 7:00–8:15 pm, and participants are instructed in passing, setting, attacking, serving, and game situations; participants are asked to wear shorts, a t-shirt, and sneakers, with knee pads optional. Skills and Drills Basketball Camp runs June 23–27, 2025, Monday–Thursday from 8:30 am–4:00 pm and Friday from 8:30 am–1:00 pm, and includes instruction in ball-handling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and defense. Cheer/Hip Hop Clinic Camp runs June 23–27, 2025, with ages 3–6 from 5:30–6:30 pm, ages 7–11 from 6:30–8:00 pm, and ages 12–18 from 6:30–8:00 pm, and offers Hip Hop dance, jumps, tumbling, and stunts, with parents or guardians invited to observe on the last day. KYDC-YMCA Wrestling Camp runs July 7–10, 2025, as a 4-day camp focusing on early tactical-technical wrestling development through locomotor activities, wrestling games, and basic maneuvers.

Tiny Tumbler Gymnastics Camp costs $40.00 for Y Members and $60.00 for Non Members, with Week #4 priced at $32.00 for Y Members and $48.00 for Non Members. Progressive Gymnastics Camp costs $40.00 for Y Members and $60.00 for Non Members, with Week #4 at $32.00 for Y Members and $48.00 for Non Members. Tumbling with Tykes - Parent & Child Camp costs $20.00 for Y Members and $30.00 for Non Members, with Week #4 at $16.00 for Y Members and $24.00 for Non Members. Track & Field Camp and Volleyball Camp each cost $40.00 for members and $60.00 for non-members. Skills and Drills Basketball Camp costs $175.00, with a family discount of $280.00 for two siblings and $310.00 for three siblings. Cheer/Hip Hop Clinic Camp costs $40.00 for YMCA Members and $60.00 for Non-Members. KYDC-YMCA Wrestling Camp is free, with costs sponsored by the Kinzua Youth Development Center (KYDC).

Online registration is offered for 2025 sports camps, but discounts cannot be applied online and must be processed with in-house registration. Anyone attending both Summer Child Care Camp and a Sports Camp in the same week must pay for both camps. For equipment and clothing, Progressive Gymnastics Camp requires fitted clothing without snaps, buttons, zippers, long strings, or baggy material, and Volleyball Camp participants are asked to wear shorts, a t-shirt, and sneakers, with knee pads optional.

Camp instructors and staff include WAHS Track & Field Coach Kevin Dustin and WAHS Track & Field athletes for Track & Field Camp, WAHS Head Varsity Volleyball Coach Mike Dolan and WAHS Volleyball players for Volleyball Camp, Tony Nelson as camp director and instructor for Skills and Drills Basketball Camp, and Shawna Fitzgerald and staff for Cheer/Hip Hop Clinic Camp. Participants in Track & Field Camp meet several high school athletes, and Volleyball Camp participants meet several WAHS Girls Volleyball players and join them on the court. Skills and Drills Basketball Camp registration forms are available at the Y Front Desk or through Facebook. Membership and program scholarships are available, and the Warren County YMCA states that it provides opportunities to all individuals, youth, adults, and families in the community.
