Camp Yamhill Christian Camps and Retreats includes activities such as a challenge course, hiking the Trask Mountains, fishing, canoeing, enjoying nature, swimming in swimming holes, and water hiking in the creek. Camp Yamhill Christian Camps and Retreats has facilities on 240 acres that can accommodate groups up to 270, with housing for 230 people on the main side of camp and 40 beds in the multi-use University Building on the pond side of camp. The main lodge, Davis Lodge, has a seating capacity of 500 and can seat 250 for meals, and the camp has two housing areas, each with a bath and restroom facility. The grounds include the Yamhill River and Haskin’s Creek, swimming holes, The Mill Pond with trout and wildlife, many trails, two guided prayer walks, a large sports field for football, soccer, volleyball and other sports, a large outdoor basketball court, and a ropes course with a 900 ft zip line, giant swings, a 60 ft rock-climbing wall, and 40 other high and low elements. Camp Yamhill has been providing Christian camping in Oregon since 1954 and exists to serve Christians in the North West. It is a year-round event center hosting business, schools, government groups, non-profits, churches, and private organizations, and it also offers Christian Outdoor School, a four-day sixth grade environmental science program that credits God as the Creator.
