Camp Yamhill Christian Camps and Retreats

Camp Yamhill Christian Camps and Retreats offers activities such as a challenge course, hiking the Trask Mountains, fishing, canoeing, enjoying nature, swimming in swimming holes, and water hiking in the creek. Campers have access to hiking and sightseeing, as well as a large sports field for football, soccer, volleyball, and other sports, plus a large outdoor basketball court. The ropes course includes a 900ft zip line, giant swings, a 60ft rock-climbing wall, and 40 other high and low elements.

Camp Yamhill Christian Camps and Retreats has facilities and 240 acres that can accommodate groups up to 270, with housing for 230 on the main side of camp and 40 beds in a multi-use University Building. The main lodge, Davis Lodge, has a seating capacity of 500 and can seat 250 for meals, and the camp has two housing areas, each with a bath and restroom facility. Camp Yamhill has been offering Christian camping in Oregon since 1954 and hosts summer camps and retreats as a year-round event center for businesses, schools, government groups, non-profits, churches, and private organizations. The camp offers two guided prayer walks, a Christian Outdoor School four-day sixth grade environmental science program that credits God as the Creator, and access to Mill Pond, which has trout and is home to salamanders, turtles, and beavers. Camp Yamhill states that it exists to serve Christians in the North West.
