YC Youth Football offers Tiger Football, 5th & 6th Senior Tackle Football, 3rd & 4th Rookie Tackle Football, and K-2nd grade flag football. The program also includes a summer football camp, opportunities for coaching football, and assisting teams as a team volunteer.
• Ages: 5–13 years old
• Schedule: Tiger Football runs from August–November; summer football camp runs August 11–14 from 5:30–7:00pm; K-2nd grade flag football registration runs June 27, 2025–August 18, 2025; tackle division games are held on Saturdays; home games for K-2nd grade flag football are held on Saturday mornings; a coaches’ meeting is scheduled for September 3 at 6:00pm
• Price: Summer football camp $50 (shirt included, guaranteed if registered by July 21, 2025); 5th & 6th Senior Tackle $150 Community Care / $200 Standard; 3rd & 4th Rookie Tackle $125 Community Care / $175 Standard; gear checkout requires a $100 refundable deposit; K-2nd grade flag football costs $116
The program is led by Program Director Erin Kutter. The YC Tigers Boosters Board includes President Erin Kutter, Vice President Elizabeth McGuire, Secretary Chelsea Ewing, Treasurer Makala Burkhardt, Public Information Officer Danielle Rodriguez, and Members at Large Bekki Jansen, April Busser, Julie Warner, and Natalie Nonamaker. The stated mission is to create opportunities to empower and strengthen the community by providing an organized, educational football program for players in Kindergarten through 8th grade, with equal opportunity to learn fundamental football skills including sportsmanship, integrity, and teamwork, and to provide a competitive yet safe environment that fosters appreciation of the game and develops life skills that extend beyond football.
YC Youth Football partners with YCHS football coaches in training young athletes and developing a unified program, and is supported by Yamhill Carlton Together Cares (YCTC) and Yamhill Carlton School District through the YC Tigers Boosters Association. Community Care Pricing offers a lower registration rate in exchange for a volunteer commitment of at least four times during the season, with volunteer roles such as team support, field setup, and concessions, and training provided. K-2nd grade flag football teams are made up of about 10 players and use a 5 vs. 5 game format, and home games for this division are offered through CPRD with registration coordinated via SportsEngine and CPRD. Gear checkout on August 17, 2025, requires a $100 refundable deposit, all fees must be paid or a payment plan arranged with the YCTC Office before an athlete can participate, and a sports physical is required for all athletes. Coaches notify parents of team placements by email by a specified date, and Honorary Members are supporters who donate at least $1,000 per fiscal year.
