Testimonials from participants and alumni describe individual experiences at MacGuffin. One alum, Elena Eisenstadt, states that MacGuffin taught her how to talk to anyone, gave her confidence in herself, instilled the importance of a serious work ethic, and introduced her to friends from across the city. Another alumna and MacGuffin choreographer, Kayla Warren, states that MacGuffin taught her how to appropriately use constructive criticism for self-growth and development. A student, Lila Wolfersberger, states that MacGuffin is important to her because it is where she did her first show.
