Downingtown Rock Gym Programs, Classes & Camps offers indoor rock climbing, including bouldering, top rope climbing, auto-belays, and lead climbing. The program includes beginner and advanced rock climbing lessons, lead climbing lessons, youth and adult instructional clinics and classes, group climbing, birthday parties, and summer camps. The facility includes a lobby with benches, cubbies, a water dispenser, and a retail area with shoes, harnesses, chalk bags, packs, crash pads, and other rock climbing gear, and it offers monthly, annual, and multi-gym memberships as well as gift cards.
The mission of Downingtown Rock Gym is to provide quality indoor, outdoor and adventure climbing experiences where seasoned climbers as well as newcomers to the sport can practice, train, and learn to climb safely. The Downingtown Rock Gym is the first expansion gym for Dave Pastorok, owner of Doylestown Rock Gym, and the plant on the campus where the building sits was built and opened in 1949.
