Founded by the Children’s Country Week Association in 1875, Paradise Farm Camps has been serving the Delaware Valley region for about 150 years and has worked with tens of thousands of children and families. It operates as a youth development organization offering an 8-week day camp serving 260 children a week, four overnight camp sessions with 60 campers each, year-round youth development programs for out-of-school time, and sponsorships so camp is accessible to those who want to attend. The Children’s Country Week Association at Paradise Farm Camps states that its mission is to inspire and empower young people to become responsible citizens and lifelong stewards of their communities and the natural world, and to ensure that all children, regardless of background or family means, have access to its programs. Lessons are led by professional outdoor educators, and the organization describes its staff as highly trained professional staff. The leadership team includes Executive Director James Mora, Program Coordinator – Camps Emilie Tronoski, Program Coordinator – Education Dando Speers, Office Manager Allison McGovern, Property Manager Steve Jenkinson, and Property Steward Chris Cain.
