Northeastern Child Care Services, a not-for-profit organization, strives to provide high-quality care and learning opportunities for children from infancy to early adolescence and makes every effort to work in collaboration with the child’s family, other childcare providers, and community resources. Treasure House Child Development Centers are licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, Office of Child Development and Early Learning, and all locations participate in the Keystone STARS Quality Initiative Program and have earned a Keystone STAR 4 quality rating. The centers’ curriculum is approved by the Department of Education, and the program utilizes The Creative Curriculum for infant through pre-K programs and The Emergent Curriculum for school-age programs. The program follows teaching guidelines established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and uses a balance of child-initiated and teacher-directed activities that address social, emotional, physical, and cognitive areas. Age-appropriate positive discipline techniques such as redirection and problem solving are employed. All locations have state-of-the-art facilities with video surveillance, secure entry doors, and Department of Human Services licensed indoor and outdoor spaces, and they participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program. Teaching staff hold Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) credentials where applicable, are described as qualified staff, are trained in child development theories, and are trained to respect children and to treat them accordingly at all times.

Northeastern Child Care Services (NCCS), the agency behind Treasure House Child Development Centers, is a multi-faceted agency serving families and businesses throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. NCCS began operations on February 2, 1989, with five child care centers and was founded by Judith Graziano, who had administered child care programs since 1968. Treasure House Child Development Centers are described as a leading choice for premium child care services in Northeast Pennsylvania and are committed to giving children time to enjoy being a child and to play freely with the things and people that interest them.

Parents report that staff at various Treasure House locations are welcoming, caring, kind, considerate, and remarkable, and that they do not worry about their children while they are there. Parents describe the environment as safe and fun, and say that their children love attending, have learned a lot, made good friends, and had a strong start to their educational journey. One parent notes that their toddlers are excited each day to play with their best friends, including their teachers, and specifically mentions appreciation for the hands-on activities, outdoor play, and learning through song. Another parent states that their child loved everything about the school, friends, and teachers and feels the child is prepared for the next level of education.
