State Theatre Summer Acting Camp includes a Summer Acting Camp and a Summer Acting Camp Recital. The recital is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 2:00 pm.

The State Theatre was established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in 1981. The primary mission of the State Theatre is to provide a stage to celebrate and explore the arts together. The State Theatre values art education through masterclasses and an annual Summer Acting Camp. Since 2003, State Theatre Center for the Arts has been producing the FREDDY® Awards Program with WFMZ-TV, recognizing musical theatre in area high schools. The State Theatre and WFMZ Channel 69 received a 2005 Mid-Atlantic EMMY® Award for outstanding Performing Arts Program for the 2004 FREDDY® Awards telecast. The building includes a granite facade and foyer from the 1873 Northampton National Bank, a theatre designed by architect William H. Lee of Philadelphia with inspiration from old Spain and the Davanzanti Place in Florence, Italy, and elaborate frescoes and gilding created by many local Italian artisans.
