Gettysburg AYSO is a youth soccer program that follows the mission of providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children's lives. The program includes a New Younger 4U Division and a New 4U Division called Kickstart. Gettysburg AYSO also offers Summer Camps and uses an Inclement Weather Stack Team App to share weather-related updates. The program has a stated rule of no pets, animals, tobacco, or alcohol at its activities.
Gettysburg AYSO is part of a broader community involvement effort that includes a Chicago Public Schools partnership with AYSO Chicago Public Schools to enhance youth sports programming through partnership with the American Youth Soccer Organization. The program is connected to the American Youth Soccer Organization leadership, and Michael Karon, President of AYSO, was recognized with the Stack Leadership Award by Stack Sports for his impact in the world of sports volunteering.
