Gettysburg Community Theatre Education & Camps

Gettysburg Community Theatre Education & Camps offers theatre arts education through classes and camps. The program includes performance experiences and volunteer opportunities connected to theatre arts. It operates in an intimate black box theatre setting with 80 seats and focuses on all facets of students’ and performers’ theater skills through its classes and camps.

Gettysburg Community Theatre Education & Camps is a not-for-profit performing arts organization that specializes in theatre arts education, performance, and volunteer opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities. The organization is celebrating over a decade of excellence in theatre arts. Its mission is to inspire creativity and confidence, promote cultural enrichment, and instill a love of the theatre arts in people of all ages and abilities through quality education and performance. GCT notes that it thrives thanks to contributions from the community.

A student age 10 describes the theatre as a place to sing, act, and dance and says, “I love the theater!” A student age 18 describes it as a place to be oneself where “no one gets left out.”
