Camp Zeke is an overnight summer camp where kids take part in fitness, cooking, sports, gourmet food, yoga, performing arts, and visual arts. Campers can swim, hike, lift weights, dance, run, train in martial arts, perform in circus, and join sports such as soccer, basketball, baseball/softball, volleyball, tennis, and swimming. The program also includes boating and outdoor adventure activities.

Camp Zeke’s mission is to be the first and only overnight summer camp where kids celebrate healthy, active living through fitness, cooking, sports, gourmet food, and joyful Judaism. The camp focuses on fresh, nourishing meals and what it describes as redefined camp food, with a large variety of food options for different types of eaters. The community is described as values-based and rooted in Jewish values such as kindness to others, developing character, taking care of health, celebrating community, welcoming visitors and new friends, and loving all members of the community.
The camp’s schedule is based on choice, allowing campers to create their day based on their interests, and it typically has approximately 300 campers per session. Camp Zeke’s staff includes accomplished athletes, chefs, trainers, performers, and artists. The camp is run by its founders, with Laurie Epstein as Chief Operating Officer, Rachel Pineles as Associate Director & Director of New Families, and Barbara Lichter as Registrar. Camp Zeke is fully accredited by the American Camp Association.
Campers play sports against other camps in the surrounding area, and the camp sources some of its food ingredients locally from farms around camp. Parent feedback highlights communication during the camp process, daily photos of camp life, the variety of activities and cooking classes, teaching kitchens, swim instruction, fireworks on July 4th, and the availability of air conditioning and heat, as well as private bathrooms and showers in the bunks. Parents also describe the staff as caring and enthusiastic, the directors as accessible and approachable, the facilities as modern and well kept, and the camp as taking safety seriously and using a personalized approach to campers when requested.
