Young Artist Classes & Pre-College Programs

Young Artist Classes & Pre-College Programs include hands-on activities in painting, printmaking, sculpture, drawing, and fibers. The program offers Young Artist Classes for students in grades 1–9, and classes and workshops for students in grades 9–12 that are designed to inspire and prepare high school students and allow them to earn college credit. Classes and workshops are also available for adults and students aged 16 and older.

• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Classes and workshops for students in grades 1–9 on weekday evenings and weekends, plus weekday classes for homeschool students
• Price: Week 4 and Week 5 July classes range from $65.00 to $465.00 per program, including options such as Clay Creations, Young Artist Studio Exploration, Animals in Art, Everything Paper! Exploring Paper Art, Fundamentals of Digital Animation & Character Design, Fundamentals of Storyboarding, Introduction to Portraiture, Introduction to Figure Drawing, Narrative Character Design, Nature Observation: Specimens & Botanicals, Parent + Child: Printed Textile, and Ultimate Art Camp: PCA&D and PA Guild of Craftsmen

Continuing education classes and workshops in this program are taught by professionals in their fields. The program’s Ultimate Art Camp is offered in collaboration with the PA Guild of Craftsmen. Digital gift cards are available and can be applied to any Center for Creative Exploration class and are emailed to the recipient on a chosen day.
