North Penn YMCA Programs & Activities was established in 1955. The organization’s mission is to make the community it serves a better place to live by enriching and strengthening families, providing supervised recreation, offering learning, leadership and character development opportunities, and promoting wellness for all people, regardless of ability to pay. It provides programs and services for children, teens, seniors, families and those with special needs in the North Penn, Indian Valley and Perkiomen Valley communities, serving 21,000 members at three facilities and through on-site childcare at schools in two local school districts and outreach programs in multiple locations. Unique features include a new NinjaZone at the Lansdale YMCA, an EZONE with traditional esports and gaming, virtual sports and golf simulator suites, an expansion of gymnasium and wellness space at the Lansdale branch, programs for all ages and abilities, and a policy that no one is turned away because of an inability to pay.
