Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs offers activities that include soccer games and English and reading help. The program takes place at Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs.
The mission of Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs is: “Recognizing the dignity and beauty of each person, the Mooncrest Ministry promotes spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development for children and families living in the Mooncrest neighborhood.” The program also provides encouragement, support and basic needs services. Community support for the program includes sponsors such as Felician Sisters of North America, Felician Services Inc, and Hopebound Ministries. One parent, Jonny, shared that his girls talk about the summer camp at home, loved the soccer games, and learn more English and reading there, and that they love to read because they get help at the camp.
