The program has been in operation under The Kitchen Workshop Incorporated from 2002–2026 and has been voted “Best of the Best” by County Lines Magazine.

Testimonials mention that couples, families, and friends have attended classes such as couples classes, an Irish foods class, and private grilling parties, and they describe Art as patient, knowledgeable, creative, and a dynamic conversationalist. One testimonial notes that a birthday celebration class included a superb, delicious, and healthy menu and comments on the cleanliness of the facility and the care taken to ensure clean surfaces and utensils. Another testimonial mentions that volunteers can help with kitchen clean-up, and the program states that volunteers receive a free gift certificate usable for a future class or as a gift, and that collecting enough volunteer gift certificates can be used to have a private party.
