Calvary Lutheran Preschool

Calvary Lutheran Preschool offers Early Preschool, Preschool (3's), and Pre-Kindergarten (4/5) classes with options for morning, Lunch Bunch, and full-day schedules. Optional early drop-off beginning at 8:00 AM is available for all classes, and the program follows specific inclement weather schedules based on West Chester Area School District delays and closures. The preschool has a wellness policy that asks families to keep children home for at least 24 hours after symptoms such as fever, sore throat, enlarged glands, earache, skin rash, vomiting, or diarrhea.

Calvary Lutheran Preschool is part of Calvary Lutheran Church. The preschool has a long tradition of providing a Christian environment. The program’s stated mission is to offer a Christian environment that is developmentally enriching, safe, and nurturing, with a focus on cultivating a school climate in which students grow respect of others and which fosters characteristics of love and sharing. The mission also states that the preschool respects each child as an individual with unique needs and experiences, and that it is designed to allow each child to learn, explore, and grow in all areas of development while providing school-readiness skills.
