Petite Pas Ballet School is led by Ms. Valerie (Ms. Val), the Owner and Founder. The school has been providing a dance education program for its students for close to one decade. It is a family owned and operated business with a meticulously designed and written curriculum. The program focuses on an age-appropriate early-childhood educational dance experience and uses creative movement, storytelling, and whimsy to teach ballet. The studio was born out of a desire to provide an age-appropriate early-childhood educational dance experience for the little ones in the owner’s community. Petite Pas Ballet School describes itself as a magical dance education program and uses the tagline “where fairytales and ballet live happily ever after.” The school is always enrolling and offers a free trial class prior to enrolling. It is described as a space where teachers’ creativity and individuality is appreciated, with flexible scheduling for teachers and supportive administrative staff. The mission of Petite Pas Ballet School states that it believes in nurturing children’s imagination and curiosity through dance, pairing classical ballet lessons with creative movement, cultivating a loving community of children who accept and lift one another up, rejecting conformity and rigidness, and continuing to provide an exceptional ballet education while protecting the innocence, wonder, and magic of children’s youth and imaginations.
