Past workshops at the camp have included music composition, songwriting, world music, improvisation, world drumming, steelpan, jazz, fiddling, fitness for musicians, music photography, martial arts, music promotion, and screen printing.

• Ages: 7–18 years old
• Schedule: Day camp sessions run June 15–19, July 6–10, July 20–24, and August 3–7, from 9 am to 4 pm daily

Cello Fury Rock Camp for Strings is entering its 18th year. The camp is open to violinists, violists, cellists, and bassists of all levels, with no auditions required and all levels accepted. Junior Rock Camp is for ages 7 to 12, Senior Rock Camp is for ages 12 to 17, and returning campers who are 18 can still participate. College-level students can work at the camp as counselors and teaching assistants. Each camp session concludes with a concert for families at 3 pm on the Friday of that week, and camp tuition includes a camp tee shirt.

Camp faculty includes Cello Fury performers Simon Cummings, Nicole Myers, and Cecilia Caughman, and upper strings faculty includes Regina Ketter, Kathleen Andrews, Jason Neukom, and Stephen Weiss. Campers have had the opportunity to perform the national anthem for the Pittsburgh Pirates on field at PNC Park. Cello Fury partners with Young Audiences of New Jersey and Eastern PA to present interactive programs and workshops at schools and has worked with hundreds of students through the Pittsburgh Public Schools “Summer Dreamers” camp.
