The Goddard School of Wexford

The Goddard School of Wexford offers activities such as American Sign Language, art history, chess, engineering, robotics, and handwriting. Children use learning technologies including computers, tablets, an interactive whiteboard, and a STEAM cart/computer lab, and they have access to playgrounds and a literacy nook. The program also includes music appreciation, dance, yoga and mindfulness, sports and fitness, world cultures, secondary languages, ball rolling painting, Playnotes Music visits, Water Day, and a Sports Camp with Mr. Trey, along with fresh fruit and vegetable snacks.

The onsite owner, Shanna, graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Communication and Elementary Education and is a certified Elementary Teacher (K–6) with an Early Childhood Education certificate. The school uses a Wonder of Learning education program and offers a Summer at Goddard program. The building includes features such as a disinfectant sprayer, finger guards, a gate alarm, a non-biometric security scanner, outdoor security cameras, supervised lobby entry, and a water filtration system. The Goddard School of Wexford is COGNIA accredited and has Pennsylvania’s Keystone STARS STAR 4 rating. The mission statement says that the school believes the start of a child's journey matters and that it offers an expert curriculum, experienced teachers, and a nurturing environment to provide a foundation for their growth.
