About the provider

Franklin Family Taekwondo is a martial arts school that focuses on hard work and self-improvement in a family-centered environment. The owner and chief instructor is Mrs. Karla Zuercher, and the assistant instructors are Mr. Tim Grove, Mrs. Stephanie Stanley, and Ms. Amanda Brunotts. Mrs. Zuercher is a 6th degree Black Belt and a fully certified instructor of the Choong Sil Taekwondo Federation, and the team includes multiple black belts with competition results at the 2025 World Championships in Scotland and the 2023 World Championships in England.

Students must truly earn their next rank. They will not take away a rank earned at another school. Students will likely be at their rank longer before promoting. Students are given a character word at each rank and must work through a Character Sheet to promote. New students do not make physical contact with other students for several months. Serious injuries are incredibly rare. The school states it does not train Olympic Style, or WT, and is part of the Choong Sil Kwan Taekwondo Federation. The school says it offers no contracts ever for the homeschool program.
