Liberty Christian School was founded in 1983. The school offers a Christ-centered, college-preparatory education from preschool through 12th grade and is a Pre-K–12th college-preparatory school. Its mission is to empower students to embrace the Warrior Way, a set of principles rooted in the Bible that guide hearts and daily actions, and to inspire and equip leaders who will impact the world for Christ.

The programs take place on the Liberty Christian School campus, which includes the STRIVE Center (Science, Technology, Research, Innovation, Virtual Learning, and Entrepreneurship), 17 fine arts classrooms and performance areas, 3 digital and media broadcast studios, 22 science labs in STEM, Robotics, and Forensics, and 2 state-of-the-art weight rooms. Weekly STEM learning at the school empowers students to adopt a design-thinking mindset. The Fine Arts Worship Culture course introduces students to leading the body of Christ in worship through the art of music. A Broadcast Journalism Career & Technology course produces daily content for Warrior Nation News, including Instagram reports and monthly newscasts. The athletic program includes 67 sports and activities from preschool to varsity and has a history of state championships in a variety of sports, with numerous athletes pursuing athletics at the college and professional level.

Liberty Christian School has a Guidance Counseling Team that begins college and post-graduation planning in 9th grade. The school offers 21 AP classes, 24 Honors classes, and 18 clubs and organizations, with a student-to-teacher ratio of 17:1. Liberty Christian School has accreditation from Cognia and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), and competes in academic, athletic, and fine arts contests through the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) District 6A, with 14 Henderson Cup wins in the last 27 years. The school offers 15 mission and service opportunities. It describes its community as inclusive and nurturing, where every child and every family belong in Christ and in community with one another, and describes its approach as holistic, encouraging students to grow spiritually, think critically, and act compassionately.

Leadership at Liberty Christian School includes Dr. Blair McCullough, who provides a welcome letter as a leader of the school; Courtney Crenshaw, Middle and Upper School Girls Pastor; and Amy Mauldin, Media Contact. Testimonials from students and staff describe Liberty as being about relationships, worshipping God and Jesus, having two recesses and two music teachers, being placed in spots to succeed and be challenged, enjoying new kids each year and making friends, and offering spiritual life opportunities such as mission trips, chapel, retreats, and discipleship programs.
