Fantastic Magic Camp

Fantastic Magic Camp offers summer camp sessions, after school magic classes, School Holiday and Single-Day Mini-Camps, Spring, Thanksgiving, and Winter Break Camps, Parents Night Out workshops, a Performer’s Academy, and a Youth Leadership Academy. Campers create, rehearse, and present magic shows in the Performer’s Academy, and the program also includes magic, juggling, puppetry, and allied variety arts.

Programs

• Summer Camp at Crestview — 5-12 · Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. · Early drop-off at 8:30 a.m.; late pick-up (Rehearsal Time) until 6:00 p.m. can be added for an additional fee.
• Summer Camp at Mt Playmore — 5-9 · Special version of summer camp in South Pflugerville for younger campers; hours, drop-off, and pick-up follow the same schedule as other camp sessions.
• Performer’s Academy — 10-16 · Specialty program focused on performance and stage presence; participants create, rehearse, and present a full magic show.
• Fantastic Magic Camp After School Classes — 6-16 · Once a week · After school classes in magic at the Crestview location.
• School Holiday and Single-Day Mini-Camps — 5-12 · One-day mini camps and select weekends · Offered during school holidays and select weekends.
• Spring, Thanksgiving & Winter Break Camps — 5-12 · During school breaks · Seasonal camps during Spring, Thanksgiving, and Winter breaks at the Crestview location.
• Parents Night Out — 8-14 · Evening workshops · Requires registration and is hosted at the Crestview location.
• Youth Leadership Academy — 13-18 · Leadership training program for regular Fantastic Magic Camp campers that have aged out of regular camps.
• Camps & Programs — 5-18 · General camps and programs offered for kids in Austin, TX during summer and the school year.

About the provider

Fantastic Magic Camp was founded by two professional magicians, The Fantastic Kent Cummins and Peter the Adequate. The camp has operated since 1993. Campers frequently return year after year and later become counselors, staff members, or board members.

Fully inclusive day camp. No competition among campers. Financial assistance available through a camper scholarship program. Cancellation policy: full refund minus a $100 per week deposit, which is held in the account and can be applied to future registrations. Lunch & two snacks are recommended; no microwave or fridge available; avoid peanut or tree nut products. Medication waiver required if medication must be taken at camp.
