Founded in 2011 in Austin, TX, Earth Native Wilderness School describes itself as an outdoor school for all and offers courses for adults and kids of all ages. The school states that it offers unique, fun, and informative courses that enliven and lead students down a path of discovery and greater self-reliance, and that it strives to be a bridge for people and communities to learn life-enhancing skills and develop connection in a community setting. Earth Native Wilderness School notes that it offers courses for kids and adults in Bastrop and Austin and that it is not a licensed child care facility and is not required to be licensed by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission due to the type and scope of its educational programming. The campus is only open when a class is happening, tours and visits are not available, and the school notes that it has two campus entrances that are not connected by road and that both Bilbrook and Woodview Lane are privately maintained dirt roads with a requested maximum driving speed of 10 MPH.
