Beaumont Children’s Museum Programs and Camps include hands-on creative workshops with art, science experiments, imaginative play, and interactive exhibits. Children take part in songs, stories, crafts, sensory play, robotics, art exploration, and activities that explore science, art, and technology. Seasonal camps offer full days of discovery, teamwork, and creativity during school breaks, and programs include themed stories, songs, crafts, and sensory play, as well as chances to explore fire engines, police cars, dump trucks, and more.

Beaumont Children’s Museum Programs and Camps are part of a non-profit museum that believes in learning through play, with exhibits carefully selected to promote S.T.E.A.M.-focused learning in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. The museum offers structured programming for ages 5 and younger, including the Toddler Takeover weekly program and the Worldwide Day of Play weekly program for children ages 0–5. Additional options include Home School Programs for K–7th grade, seasonal camps for 1st–7th grade, and field trips with custom experiences available for all grade levels and group sizes. The outreach program “Museum without Walls” brings STUFFEE, a 7-foot-tall ambassador of health, LEGO Simple and Mechanized Machines classroom kits used to teach STEM concepts, and the Emerald Planetarium traveling planetarium to kids around Southeast Texas.
Beaumont Children’s Museum was started by a group of citizens in 2008, and June 13, 2015, marked its official opening day. The mission of Beaumont Children’s Museum is “Igniting the growth and relationships of children, families, and communities through interactive learning and play.” The Interim Executive Director is Elizabeth Schreck. Many members of the community support the museum through volunteering and monetary donations, and donors, sponsors, and partners include families, corporations, and organizations such as the Junior League of Beaumont, Ronald McDonald House Charities, BASF, ExxonMobil, Capital One, HEB, T-Mobile, the City of Beaumont, and many others.
