U.S. Softball Academy offers instruction in hitting, pitching, catching, fielding, base running, and situational softball and baseball games. Camp days include competition drills and a Wiffle Ball World Series as part of the on-field activities.

U.S. Softball Academy states that its mission is “Building Better Players” and that its camps are designed to develop skills in all facets of the game with an emphasis on teaching proper fundamentals and techniques. It is described as the nation’s largest network of softball camps, hosting in more than 100 cities across the country, with a national program that uses a consistent itinerary of drills, a low player-coach ratio, and a teaching staff of coaches from the local area. Players at the Spring Training program learn from some of the area’s top high school and college coaches, and an average session includes about 30 players with six or seven experienced and professionally trained coaches. The program offers age-specific sessions with instruction tailored for each ability level, with sessions offered through age 18 in the winter/spring program and through age 14 in the summer program. The Summer Training Program focuses on development in hitting, pitching, and fielding in what the program describes as a fun-filled environment, and prizes are given for winners, with all participants receiving a t-shirt and camp certificate.
