About
Sylvan STEM Camps include robotics camps, engineering camps and Fit4Algebra camps. Campers build and program a variety of robots using LEGO bricks and award-winning software, brainstorm, build and experiment with robots, and work on projects that encourage problem solving and collaboration. They also spend time designing, evaluating and reconstructing machines and super structures and exploring real-world science questions, from physics to earth sciences.

Sylvan STEM Camps are part of Sylvan’s broader focus on building academic confidence, igniting intellectual curiosity and inspiring a love for learning. The program uses a proprietary curriculum that encourages innovation, creativity and critical thinking, with courses that meet Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Camps are available after school or during summer, spring or winter break, with small group sizes and STEM camps and program options offered nationwide, including Sylvan locations around the world. Sylvan is the largest private employer of certified K–12 teachers in the world, and its teachers are described as experts at engaging kids and bringing out a love of STEM. For over 40 years, Sylvan has worked with millions of students and families, and students in its programs have seen up to two to three times more academic growth than other students based on independent research. The organization also offers an Insight Assessment to determine where a child stands academically and Personalized Tutoring programs with a guarantee of progress, and it partners with many local schools as an after-school STEM partner.
