Sylvan Learning Courses and Camps

Sylvan Learning Courses and Camps offers STEM camps, academic camps, study skills classes, and college readiness camps. Students can take part in activities such as coding, robotics, and engineering, along with courses that cover researching effectively, taking better notes, and learning test-taking strategies. Many camps and STEM camps are available in person or online, and year-round academic courses and camps are offered.

Study skills classes are available for students in grades 4–12. Sylvan’s Insight Assessment shows where a child stands academically, and personalized tutoring is available with local tutors who understand the school’s curriculum. The program uses a proprietary Sylvan Method that was developed through academic research, years of teaching experience, and technology. Sylvan guarantees progress in Personalized Tutoring programs, and independent research has found that students in these programs achieve up to 3x more growth in math and reading scores than their peers.
