Cook n Grow

Cook n Grow offers hands-on cooking and baking activities for kids. The program includes classes, camps, and private events that focus on children learning to prepare their own food and cook for themselves. Children are taught cooking and baking techniques, etiquette and table manners, cognitive measuring skills, and more, through interactive learning that builds independence in the kitchen.

Founded by Chef Gina Carrera, Cook n Grow has been cooking up fun since 2014. The program’s mission is to connect people through food, and it strives to help kids make connections around food while making cooking fun. Families can choose from a list of cooking adventures and build the guest list for private events, and the program offers themed camps such as Barbie's Dream Kitchen and Cartoon Cravings. One parent described their experience as “PHENOMENAL” and shared that their child loves the program and would attend every week, praising the patience shown when working with the kids.
