CSISD Summer Day Camp
CSISD Community Education - Summer Day Camp, 1812 Welsh Ave, College Station, TX 77840
About
CSISD Summer Day Camp includes sports, crafts, outdoor skills, and both large and small group choice activities. Campers take part in morning round ups and week-long focused activities in sports, crafts, or outdoor skills. Fieldtrips are a key part of the camp and include major league baseball games, theme parks, skating, and museums.
• Schedule: Community Education office hours run June 2–July 25, Monday–Thursday from 7:30am–5:00pm, with the office closed on Fridays and email monitored; beginning July 28, office hours are Monday–Friday from 8:00am–4:30pm.
Each week, the camp hosts around 200 campers at each location, and campers are divided into different “cabin” groups. Staff expand and deepen their cabin’s culture and traditions each summer with campers, and morning round ups bring all campers together to start the day with energy and reflection within cabin groups. Afternoons consist of large and small group choice activities that center around a common theme when campers are not traveling on fieldtrips. The stated mission of Summer Day Camp is to provide a unique and memorable day camp experience for each camper.
The Community Education leadership team includes Supervisor of Community Education Rickey Meza, Coordinator of Community Education Lindsey Sericano, Director of Community Education Chad Gardner, and Administrative Assistant Sara Foster. 2026 site phone numbers are listed as NS JR Camp: 979-229-5114, NS SR Camp: 979-229-1875, SS JR Camp: 979-229-0491, and SS SR Camp: 979-229-5452.
