YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas Youth Programs offers a wide range of activities, including Youth Sports, Adventure Guides, After School, Resident and Day Camps, a Safety Around Water Program, and a Summer Learning Academy. The programs also include fitness classes, youth fitness programs, youth sports, swim programs, preschool, Esports Gaming Lab, martial arts, aerobics, PWRFIT, and access to facilities such as basketball, pickleball, volleyball, and racquetball courts. Additional offerings include nutrition education, wellness initiatives, Nutrition Coaching, Personal Trainers, Active Older Adult Classes, Pickleball - Open Play, Spin Class Studio, Spivi, Lunch and Learn for Seniors, and Volunteer Opportunities.

The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is a nonprofit organization serving almost 200,000 people annually via programs, outreach, and events throughout Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Palo Pinto, and Rockwall counties. The organization has been serving the community for over 135 years and offers over 250 programs. Leadership for growth efforts includes Elise Back, Chief Growth Officer. The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas states that it intentionally leads and models a culture of engagement and belonging and, through volunteerism, outreach programs, and partnerships, strives to create a welcoming environment where everyone can contribute to the greater good.

YMCA Camp Grady Spruce, part of the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, celebrated the first phase of a $10.2 million renovation with eight brand-new cabins, a renovated Dining Hall on the Ray Bean side, and a new Welcome Center planned, expanding cabin capacity from 144 to 256 beds. The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas also notes that its Summer Learning Academy took place in three school districts and that thousands of children received backpacks, supplies, haircuts, exams, and more at YMCA back-to-school fairs. In partnership with the City of Waxahachie and Ellis County, Texas, the YMCA broke ground on the Cindy Hess Memorial Park, which will feature a pavilion, walking trail, sports fields, outdoor fitness areas, and more next to the Waxahachie Family YMCA.

One parent, Mayela, shared that during a divorce and transition to one income, the YMCA provided a scholarship for her son to play baseball. Another participant, Shirley from the Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program, reported that staff support at the YMCA led to a change in her blood pressure medication after discovering her blood pressure was in the danger zone.
