Dallas International School Camps are connected to Dallas International School, which offers a dynamic, multilingual education that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. The school supports five languages to foster multilingual proficiency, and in the primary grades students engage equally in French and English with the option to introduce a third language as early as age four. Students at the school can follow either the French or International English pathways in Middle and High School and participate in authentic immersion opportunities including daily interactions, international study trips, and the Global Exchange program.

Dallas International School’s mission is “Inspiring multilingual global citizens on a lifelong journey of discovery and action.” The school celebrates the diversity of its community, where students, faculty, and staff from around the world enrich classrooms and events with their unique cultural perspectives, and over 55 cultures are represented on its campuses. About 50% of students are citizens of more than one country, and 75% of students can speak at least three languages. The school reports 100% college matriculation, 100% participation of secondary students in at least one school-related club or activity, and 42% of all secondary students participating in athletics.

Dallas International School is led by Head of School Jacques Weber, Head of Primary Franck Philipp, and Head of Secondary Patricia Devilliers. The vast majority of DIS faculty have advanced degrees, and 79% of faculty have an advanced degree. The school offers an accredited French program recognized by the French Ministry of National Education through 12th grade and a fully accredited US independent school education through the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest for all grades. As an authorized IB World School, it has offered the IB Diploma Program since 2007 and is a candidate school for both the IB Middle Years Program (6th–10th grade) and the IB Career-related Program (11th–12th grade). Dallas International School is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), Texas IB Schools Association (TIBS), Association of French Schools in North America (AFSA), and Texas Private Schools’ Association (TPSA), and has been a member of the TAPPS League for athletics since 2011. It is the only international private school in North Texas.
