About
UTRGV Summer Camps offer STEM programs, art programs, and fitness programs. The camps are tailored for children in kindergarten through 12th grade and include a mix of these activities during the summer.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
UTRGV Summer Camps are part of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s broader mission to expand opportunity through education, research, healthcare, and community engagement. The camps operate within a university that has been recognized as a Most Innovative School in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report in 2026 and by Washington Monthly in 2023 and 2024. UTRGV has also been ranked 1st in Best Social Mobility among Texas universities, 1st in Texas as Best University, 1st among Texas universities for lowest net price of attendance, and 1st in Best Performance of Pell Grant students among Texas universities by Washington Monthly in recent years. UTRGV is the only university in Texas with both a School of Medicine and a School of Podiatric Medicine and brings education, healthcare, and research directly to multiple communities across the Rio Grande Valley.
