Georgetown Family YMCA Youth Programs include child care, youth sports, Afterschool Adventure, and Spring Break fun. Children take part in exciting activities such as creative games, outdoor challenges, team-building fun, artsy projects, games, crafts, daily swimming, and a variety of art, gymnastics, and sports programs.

The Georgetown Family YMCA is part of the YMCA of Central Texas, whose history began during the 1970s. The mission of the YMCA of Central Texas is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Leadership for Georgetown Family YMCA Youth Programs includes David S, Vice President of Operations - North; Cat P, Executive Director; and Deshawn J, Sports Director. The YMCA of Central Texas’ Licensed Child Care Department is the largest provider of child care in Williamson County, and the Y is described as the nation’s leading nonprofit organization for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Georgetown Family YMCA offers Full-Day and Half-Day options for Spring Break Camp and includes daily swimming as part of camp activities. YMCA of Central Texas camps are described as offering safe, inclusive experiences that blend fun and education for children across all ages. The Georgetown Family YMCA also offers the Y on the Fly - Fun Bus and brings programs to Afterschool Adventure sites. The YMCA of Central Texas partners with school districts, community businesses, and well trained staff for Afterschool programs, and its volunteer and staff leadership work toward growing diverse representation to mirror the communities they serve. The Y states that it works side-by-side with neighbors to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. Holiday hours for the branch include closures on Thursday, November 27th; Wednesday, December 24th; Thursday, December 25th; Wednesday, December 31st; and Thursday, January 1st, 2026.
