Atomic Adventures offers hands-on STEAM activities that include exciting experiments, creative challenges, building projects, outdoor games, and other hands-on science activities. The program emphasizes hands-on learning throughout its activities.
• Ages: 6–11 years old
Atomic Adventures LLC is a Texas-based STEAM summer program founded in 2022 by Mandy Delbello and Scott Creek. The program’s mission is to empower young minds to explore, innovate, and excel in STEAM by creating dynamic, hands-on learning experiences that spark curiosity and inspire a lifelong love of discovery. Every camp is led by a state-certified teacher, and staff are certified in first aid, CPR, and behavior management. Campers are always supervised by qualified educators, and the program maintains low staff-to-child ratios to provide individualized attention. Atomic Adventures operates as a screen-free STEAM environment with top-quality programs that use a vetted curriculum and innovative themes. Outdoor play and movement are an integral part of the program, which also prioritizes hydration, sun safety, and a well-balanced day of learning and exploration. The program includes daily health screenings, frequent handwashing, and sanitizing of high-touch surfaces. Atomic Adventures is a summer STEAM program designed to engage students with the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Technology and is designed to combat summer learning loss. Since its inception, Atomic Adventures has ignited a love for STEAM in young learners in Katy and has grown to serve the communities of Richmond, Sugarland, Fulshear, and Houston.
