MyPlace Early Learning Center

MyPlace Early Learning Center offers activities such as Parent Teacher Conferences, Enhancement Classes, and a STEAM hands-on curriculum. Children take part in progressive coding, project-based learning, and activities built around a driving question. The program includes collaboration, critical thinking, communication, sharing, technology integration, and fun, physical activities.

MyPlace Early Learning Center has been serving families since 2009 and is described as a proudly locally-owned program. Its STEAM-focused programs are built on principles of Nurturing, Education, Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), and Wellness, and are in accordance with the Katy Independent School District's core curriculum. The program includes childcare, preschool, pre-K, bridge, and after-school programs and offers daily updates and progress reports, 24-hour video recording, and a biometric check-in process. It follows Nutrition and Wellness best practices for a healthy lifestyle through fun, physical activities and includes Social Emotional Learning that encourages students to communicate emotions with their friends. One parent, Manuel Ramirez, shared that both of his daughters attend, that he has seen growth in them, and that he finds the teachers caring, patient, and dedicated, with a management team he describes as helpful and supportive.
