G.O.O.D Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Renzo Gracie Katy) offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes for kids and adults, including Kid's Jiu-Jitsu (Gi), Kid's Jiu-Jitsu (No Gi), Adult's Jiu-Jitsu (Gi), and Adult's Jiu-Jitsu (No Gi). The program also offers No-Gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kids’ Classes, Private Lessons, Fun Friday (Kids) (No Gi), and Fight Club Friday (Adults) (No Gi). The academy is described as a gym and an academy with a family-friendly, family-oriented, community-oriented environment, and the entire Flores family trains together there.

• Schedule: Private lessons available Monday–Friday between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, with kids’ and adults’ classes offered Monday–Friday in the early evening

Professors Holly and Ronnie Flores lead the academy and have over 30 years of combined experience. The leadership team includes Ronnie Flores (Professor & 2nd Degree BJJ Black Belt), Holly Flores (Professor & BJJ Black Belt), Harry Montecinos (Professor & BJJ Black Belt), and Ruben Arriaga (Coach & BJJ Brown Belt). Professors Holly and Ronnie Flores have been pivotal figures in the Houston, Texas Jiu-Jitsu community since 2007 and earned their purple belts in 2013 before transitioning into teaching, starting with a kids' program for children as young as four years old. Both professors have been active competitors.

The mission at G.O.O.D is to create exceptional students through the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, focusing on using an attacker's strength and weight against them so smaller, weaker individuals can defend themselves using leverage and technique. The mission statement also notes that Jiu-Jitsu instills lessons about respect and self-confidence, helps to prevent bullying, and enables students to de-escalate situations before they become physical. The academy emphasizes family, community, and empowerment through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and fosters a community-oriented environment where students can become part of a supportive and encouraging community and join a supportive group of like-minded individuals.

Professor Holly Flores is the first female Renzo Gracie Black Belt in Texas, the first Hispanic female Renzo Gracie Black Belt, and the first female Renzo Gracie Black Belt to own and operate an academy. The academy offers a 5-day trial, a variety of membership options for both kids and adults, and programs for both beginners and advanced practitioners. It offers comprehensive programs for both kids and adults in both Gi and No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, including Fun Friday (Kids) (No Gi) and Fight Club Friday (Adults) (No Gi). Training in BJJ at this gym is described as physically and mentally demanding, leading to increased fitness, problem-solving abilities, and self-awareness, in an environment described as fun, friendly, family-oriented, safe, and positive.
