About
FBC Kaufman Youth & Children Ministries offers LifeGroups on Sunday mornings where kids and students take part in age-specific gatherings, and students in grades 6–12 meet at The Porch for breakfast and a conversation about how to follow Jesus and understand God more. The program also includes MidWeek activities on Wednesday evenings, an in-town DNOW (Disciple Now) weekend retreat for 6th–12th grade students with worship, teaching, small groups, and fun, and a DNOW Parent Dinner that shares practical wisdom, encouragement, and insight on how to better guide, support, and connect with teens. Additional events include A Conversation With Our Ukrainian Partner Pastor featuring Vasyl Povorozniuk with firsthand stories and a live Q&A, and a Marriage Night that offers couples a welcoming atmosphere, a fun time, a nice dinner, and space to refocus on their relationship.

• Schedule: LifeGroups and student breakfast conversations on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m., MidWeek programming on Wednesdays from 6:30–8:30 p.m., and special events on select Friday and Sunday evenings

The program uses a secure check-in system where each child receives a tag that matches the parent’s tag, and the matching tag is required for pickup. LifeGroups for 0–5-year-olds, grade-schoolers in 1st–3rd grade, and the preteen ministry for 4th–5th grade are organized into separate spaces, and the preteen ministry focuses on preparing 4th–5th grade students for their next phase of life. DNOW 2026 is scheduled for January 30–February 1, with the DNOW Parent Dinner on Friday, January 30 at 6:30 p.m., A Conversation With Our Ukrainian Partner Pastor on Sunday night, February 1 at 5:00 p.m., and Marriage Night on Friday evening, February 13 from 6:30–8:30 p.m. The stated mission of the church is “Reaching Kaufman County and the world for Christ, one changed life at a time.” The church notes that it warmly welcomes people from all ethnic backgrounds and every stage of life, including the young, the old, the healthy, and the disabled, and it offers multiple worship service styles and a Spanish service.
