About

Ambassadors Football Dallas offers summer soccer camps, soccer clinics, and skill-building sessions that include small-sided games, competitions, and individual soccer skills development. Camp and clinic activities include ball mastery in the context of the game of soccer, engaging skits and activities, daily Bible teachings, and a 1-minute Bible based team talk. Trained and licensed Christian coaches lead the sessions, and coaches will pray with the players at the start and end of clinics.

• Ages: 4–12 years old
• Schedule: Summer soccer camps run as five-day camps from 9am–Noon, Tuesday–Saturday, and Fall 2025 Soccer Skills Clinic 2 runs as an 8-week clinic with sessions from 5:30–6:15pm on Mondays and Fridays.
• Price: Fall 2025 Soccer Skills Clinic 2 costs $175 once a week or $350 twice a week per player; summer soccer camps at listed churches and the academy cost $195; the Travis Heights Refugee Camp program is free.

Summer soccer camps are led by trained Christian coaches, and campers receive a shirt, soccer ball, certificate, devotional booklet, and the opportunity to earn medals or trophies on the final competition day. Soccer clinics are conducted by licensed Christian coaches and are set up to give soccer players extra training throughout the year in a small group setting. For Fall 2025 Soccer Skills Clinic 2, players are asked to wear shin guards and cleats and bring water and a pumped-up soccer ball (size 3 for U4–U7 and size 4 for U8–U10).

Ambassadors Football Dallas is dedicated to making God known to the next generation by combining the global popularity of soccer with biblical teaching and uses the soccer field as a platform to model, mobilize, and multiply Christ-centered soccer outreach. The program is strategically located in the Dallas Metroplex to reach a diverse population, including significant Latino and refugee communities, and to serve as a launching point for global soccer ministry.

Dallas leadership is provided by Stef and Christy van Meerveld. Stef grew up in the Netherlands, holds licenses from the USSF (B), United Soccer Coaches (Advanced National), and Dutch KNVB (UEFA B and Futsal III), and was called into full-time soccer ministry at age 27 with Ambassadors Football based in Cleveland, Ohio. Stef and Christy served overseas from 2006–2016 before returning to the United States to work in the Ambassadors Football headquarters in Ohio. Christy (CJ Johnson) is a Garland native, is a University of North Texas Hall of Fame member for her Division 1 soccer career, and also played a fifth year of college volleyball at Dallas Baptist University.
