About
Austin Skyline Juniors Volleyball offers camps, clinics, private lessons, and year-round training programs focused on volleyball. Camps and clinics are available for children and teens, and all activities are led by the program’s coaching staff.

Austin Skyline Juniors Volleyball states that its mission is to be one of the highest quality clubs in the nation and to go the extra mile to develop and showcase its athletes, while striving to enable both players and coaches to reach their full potential. The program uses a whole human approach to teaching the game of volleyball and follows organizational values that include making decisions based on what is best for the athletes, training athletes to excel at higher levels of competition, integrating coaching strategies and techniques at each level, sustaining a coaching philosophy based on positive reinforcement and motivation, providing year-round training programs, limiting the number of teams to the number of quality coaches available, and advising and mentoring athletes to timely and effectively market them to college volleyball programs. All coaches are IMPACT certified, and many have CAP certifications, and coaches are selected based on experience, knowledge of the game, coaching capability, enthusiasm, temperament, and having passed an extensive background screening. The coaching philosophy emphasizes coaching by encouragement rather than intimidation, and all coaches regularly participate in on-the-court training during clinics, camps, and other coaches’ training events. Coaches are required to plan and organize their team’s individual practice sessions, administer instruction at tournaments, and develop the composition and organization of the team, while staff members handle administration for tournaments, travel, and finances so coaches can focus on coaching and professional growth.
