Since 2014, Bright Minds Montessori has been meeting the needs of busy parents by providing a fun and safe space for their children. The program follows the Montessori methodology of teaching developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, with a focus on social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Children are exposed to lessons, activities, and materials that build upon their skill set and progress in their development as individuals, using a holistic approach to overall development.

Teachers at Bright Minds Montessori are hired based on criteria that include a Bachelor’s or Associate degree, completion of 24 hours of annual childcare training, Pediatric First Aid and CPR, experience working with young children, excellent communication and organizational skills, creativity with multiple teaching tools, references from previous supervisors, compatibility with kids, and a friendly demeanor. Staff are described as qualified and experienced, with Pediatric CPR and First Aid training, and the center adheres to a state-regulated teacher-student ratio with a low turnover rate. The program partners with a research-based, intuitive comprehensive curriculum provider, giving teachers uninterrupted access to an online digital curriculum with 52 weeks of lessons with integrated standards, the ability to switch between age group content instantly, and professional development opportunities.

The facility includes 24-hour video surveillance in all classrooms, the entrance, and the outdoor play area, as well as electronically secured doors with a fire protection and alarm monitoring system. Classrooms are kept clean and sanitized, and each classroom has a separate bathroom for boys and girls. The program provides nutritious breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, and dinner, and uses a childcare app to share updates on day-to-day activities, including pictures, videos, and daily reports. Bright Minds Montessori notes 10+ years of experience, 500+ kids enrolled, 100% holistic approach, 100% parent satisfaction, adherence to standards set by the Childcare Regulatory Board, flexible scheduling care options based on family needs, sibling discount options, and that drop-ins are welcome on professional development days and school breaks. The center has announced no waitlist with spots available for infant and pre-primary groups, and has noted closures on Monday, January 20, 2025, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, due to inclement weather.

The mission of Bright Minds Montessori states that the program fosters the love of learning by engaging children and motivating them to unlock their own potential, with the belief that every child is capable of unlocking achievements in academics and beyond with specialized education and advanced teaching methodology. The mission also states that the youngest years of childhood are viewed as crucial years of development, that quality education at an early age has a great impact on a child’s future, and that by providing exceptional education and personalized attention, the program aims to empower students, foster a supportive atmosphere, and inspire a lifelong love for learning.

Parent testimonials describe teachers as caring, skilled, truly dedicated to each student’s growth, knowledgeable, and supportive, and describe the classroom environment as clean, calm, beautifully organized, and inviting. Parents report seeing growth in their children, state that their children have gained confidence, independence, and a love for learning, and say their children enjoy going every day.
